The MVR Project was born from the dream of our founder and director, Montserrat Villalba Ruiz, with the aim of improving the professionalism and employability of workers in the Canary Islands. This purpose not only seeks to enrich the employment opportunities of our community, but also to contribute to the strengthening and competitiveness of the economy of the archipelago.
Today, this commitment is materialised through 6 Vocational Training Centres for Employment, which you can see below and which are strategically located in the municipalities of Telde and Santa Brígida, which we put at your disposal and which we present to you below.
In 2010, the Santa Brígida Training Centre for Employment began its activity, being from the moment of its opening and until today, the only centre collaborating with the Canary Employment Service located in the midlands of Gran Canaria. Giving training support to the population of the area.
Academia Telde (Montserrat Villalba Ruiz S.L) is the mother centre of the MVR Group. We have more than 30 years of experience, maintaining our position at the top of the ranking of Collaborating Centres with the Canary Islands Employment Service, leading in the quality of training and job placement.
In 2012, the Instituto de Formación Profesional, Industrial y Tecnológico El Goro (INFORINTEC) joined the MVR group, directing its training offer towards the productive sectors of the industrial area where it is located, establishing collaboration agreements with the main companies in the industrial fabric of Gran Canaria.
INGASTUR was inaugurated in 2014. A centre specialising in the areas of catering, tourism, commerce and the food industry. This centre has one of the best catering facilities on the island, with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, which guarantees quality training and excellence.
INFORMEC was created in 2015 with the aim of training professionals to meet the demand for employment in the areas of transport, vehicle maintenance, safety and environment, building and civil engineering, energy and water, among others.
Our Instituto de Formación para el Empleo centre offers a wide variety of courses and training programmes so that you can acquire the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the job market.
We are currently in the midst of a process of strategic transformation, with the ambitious objective of consolidating our position as a network of Training Centers specialising in the most cutting-edge demands of the labour market. Areas such as Digitalisation and the Blue Economy are added to our solid track record in sectors such as Hospitality and Tourism, Transport and Vehicle Maintenance, Socio-Cultural and Community Services, Building and Civil Works, among others.
In line with our mission, we are promoting our placement agencies with the goal of achieving a 90% job placement rate for our users. How will we achieve this? Not only do we provide excellent training, adapted to the real needs of the labour market and using innovative methodologies, but we also carry out active labour intermediation, directly connecting companies with our students. This approach allows us to remain among the institutions with the highest job placement rates in the Canary Islands.
Finally, true to our sustainability policies, we work to meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the principles set out in the 2030 Agenda, reaffirming our commitment to a more equitable and responsible future.
